PayBito Pay for Wix

Add a PayBito cart and checkout to your Wix Stores site — accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and 100+ digital assets.

Prerequisites

Before configuring PayBito Pay, make sure all three of the following are in place:

Wix Stores

Added to your Wix site, with at least one product in your catalog.

A Published Site

Publish your site before you begin. Wix only reports your site address once the site has been published, and that address is exactly what you whitelist in the PayBito portal — until then the app has nothing to show you, and it cannot place the Add to Cart button on your product page.

PayBito Merchant Account

Sign up at portal.paybito.com if you don't have one yet.

Installation

Add the App to Your Site

PayBito Pay installs straight from the Wix App Market. There is nothing to download, upload or unzip.

1
Open the App Market listing

Go to the PayBito Pay listing in the Wix App Market:

https://wix.to/EAgGXxg
2
Add it to your site

Pick the site you want to install on and click Add to Site, then accept the permissions Wix asks for.

3
Open the app

In your Wix dashboard, go to Apps → PayBito Pay to reach the configuration panel used throughout the next section.

Installing the app puts three things on your site: a PayBito shopping cart available on every page, an Add to Cart button for your product pages, and a standalone Pay with PayBito button you can drop anywhere in the editor.

Setup

Configuration happens in two places: the PayBito Pay panel in your Wix dashboard, and the Domain Whitelisting screen in the PayBito portal. Both are required — the cart will not work with only one of them done.

Step 1: Enter Your PayBito Credentials

In the Wix dashboard, open Apps → PayBito Pay and fill in the PayBito API Credentials card. You will find every one of these values in your PayBito merchant account under Developers → API Keys.

Where to find these values in the PayBito merchant console

Sign in at portal.paybito.com, then expand Developers in the left sidebar and choose API Keys. Note the Domain Whitelisting entry in the same menu — you will come back to it in Step 2.

Three of the four values you need are on this one screen. Enter a name for the key — use something that identifies this store, such as wix — and click Create. Your Merchant ID and Broker ID are displayed at the top right of the same card, each with a copy button.

Once the key exists, take its Public Key (beginning pk_) into PayBito API Key, and its Secret Key (beginning sk_) into PayBito Secret Key in the Wix panel.

Field What to Enter
PayBito API Key Required Your public key, beginning pk_
PayBito Secret Key Required Your secret key, beginning sk_. Stored encrypted and never sent to a shopper's browser.
PayBito Merchant ID Required The Merchant ID shown on your PayBito account
PayBito Broker ID Optional Needed only for the PayBito shopping cart. Leave it blank and you still get the standalone Pay with PayBito button — but no cart.

Click Save Settings.

No webhook to set up. Saving your credentials registers a PayBito webhook endpoint for your site automatically, so payment results flow back on their own. Unlike the WooCommerce plugin, there is no endpoint URL to copy and no shared secret to paste anywhere.

Live vs test keys. Test keys work only against the PayBito sandbox. Turn TEST MODE off in the portal and create a live key before you accept real payments.

Step 2: Whitelist Your Site's Address

PayBito only accepts cart requests from addresses you have explicitly whitelisted. This step happens in the PayBito portal, not in Wix.

Whitelisting your domain
1
Copy your site address

In the PayBito Pay panel, scroll to the PayBito domain whitelisting card and click Copy. This is the second card on the configuration screen shown at the top of this section, directly below Save Settings.

2
Add it in the PayBito portal

Go to Developers → Domain Whitelisting and paste the address in. Strip the https:// first — the Wix card copies a full URL, but this field expects a bare domain such as yoursite.wixsite.com.

3
Verify it worked

Back in the Wix panel, click Test connection. A green result means PayBito is accepting requests from your site.

Finding the Domain Whitelisting screen

Whitelisting lives in the PayBito merchant console, not in Wix. Sign in at portal.paybito.com, expand Developers in the left sidebar, and click Domain Whitelisting — the third item in that menu, below API Keys and API.

PayBito console Domain Whitelisting screen with the Add Domain field The Domain Whitelisting screen. Paste your site address into ADD DOMAIN, optionally add a description, then click Add Domain. Each merchant may whitelist up to five domains.

Once added, the domain appears in the Whitelisted Domains list marked APPROVED, with its own request-rate allowance. That is what a correctly whitelisted Wix site looks like:

Skip this and nothing looks broken — until someone tries to buy. Your storefront will render perfectly normally, because PayBito only rejects the cart request itself. The failure shows up the moment a customer clicks Add to Cart. Always finish with Test connection.

If the whitelisting card tells you to publish your site first, do that and reopen the panel — Wix does not report a site address until the site has been published.

Step 3: Add the Button to Your Product Page

The last step puts the Add to Cart button on your product pages.

Placing the button
1
Open the Storefront card

Scroll to the bottom of the PayBito Pay panel and click Add to product page.

2
Confirm in Wix

Wix opens its own confirmation dialog before placing anything on your site. Approve it.

3
Check your storefront

Open any product page. The button appears beneath the quantity selector, and a floating cart appears in the corner of every page — see Checkout below for what your customers then see.

Before you go live, know how the PayBito cart behaves. While it is active, orders are recorded in the PayBito portal, not in your Wix dashboard. Wix inventory is not reduced, and Wix coupons, shipping rules and tax rules do not apply.

Checkout

Here is the complete path a customer takes, from browsing your catalog to a confirmed payment.

1. Your storefront works exactly as it did before

Your product catalog displays normally. Customers browse items and view pricing as usual — the only visible addition is the floating PayBito cart.

2. The customer opens a product

Product pages keep the standard Wix template. Customers choose their options and quantity, then use the PayBito Add to Cart button.

3. They review the cart

The cart panel lists every item with its selected options, quantities and the order total, and is marked Secured by PayBito. From here the customer clicks Proceed to Checkout.

4. They choose how to pay

At checkout the customer picks a payment method and reviews the full order summary — including any handling fee and tax — before confirming the amount due.

5. The payment is confirmed

Once the transaction completes, the customer sees a confirmation screen with the amount paid and a confirmed transaction status.

6. You track it from the PayBito dashboard

Every payment appears in the PayBito dashboard's Transactions view — totals, status, method and per-order detail, with CSV export. This is where your PayBito orders live; they are not written to your Wix dashboard.
