These Wallet Funding Terms (“Funding Terms”) govern each Wallet Funding transaction initiated by a User through a supported Funding Method. These Funding Terms supplement the PayBito Wallet Services Agreement and apply in addition to any Funding Method-specific disclosures presented at the time of the transaction.
By initiating a Wallet Funding transaction, the User agrees to these Wallet Funding Terms.
These Funding Terms apply whenever a User increases the Wallet Balance of a Platform Wallet using a supported Funding Method made available through the Platform.
These Funding Terms apply regardless of whether Wallet Funding is initiated:
These Funding Terms form part of the PayBito Wallet Services Agreement.
Where a Wallet Funding transaction is followed by a Merchant Payment, the subsequent Merchant Payment remains a separate transaction governed by the Wallet Services Agreement and any applicable Merchant Payment Authorization.
By initiating Wallet Funding, the User instructs PayBito to facilitate the funding of the User’s Platform Wallet using the selected Funding Method.
The User authorizes PayBito and the applicable Wallet Funding Partner to process the Wallet Funding transaction in accordance with the User’s instructions.
The User represents and warrants that:
The User is responsible for confirming the Wallet Funding amount before submitting the transaction.
Once authorized, the Platform will process the Wallet Funding request in accordance with the selected Funding Method.
Upon successful completion of the Wallet Funding transaction, the applicable Wallet Assets will be credited to the User’s Platform Wallet.
The Wallet Balance will be updated to reflect the completed Wallet Funding transaction.
The Platform will generate a transaction record confirming the successful completion of the Wallet Funding transaction.
The transaction record may include:
Card Wallet Funding transactions may be subject to fees. Fees applicable to Card Wallet Funding are set forth in the Card Wallet Funding & Merchant Payment Fee Schedule, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Before the User authorizes a Card Wallet Funding transaction, the Platform will disclose the applicable Card Wallet Funding Fee, Funding Amount, Wallet Asset amount to be credited, Total Card Charge, and any other material transaction-specific charges.
By authorizing a Card Wallet Funding transaction, the User acknowledges that the User has reviewed and accepted the fees and Total Card Charge displayed by the Platform for that transaction.
Fees may be changed from time to time in accordance with the Card Wallet Funding & Merchant Payment Fee Schedule and applicable law. Any new or modified fee applicable to a Card Wallet Funding transaction will be disclosed to the User before the User authorizes that transaction.
The User acknowledges that Wallet Funding is a transaction separate from any subsequent Merchant Payment.
Wallet Funding increases the balance of the User’s Platform Wallet.
A Merchant Payment occurs only after the User submits a separate Payment Instruction authorizing the transfer of Wallet Assets from the Platform Wallet to a Merchant.
Completion of Wallet Funding does not itself purchase goods or services from any Merchant.
If the User subsequently chooses to make a Merchant Payment, that payment constitutes a separate transaction governed by its own applicable agreements.
The User is under no obligation to use Wallet Assets acquired through Wallet Funding for any particular Merchant Payment.
Wallet Assets may remain in the Platform Wallet until used, transferred, traded, withdrawn, or otherwise utilized through available Wallet Services.
Wallet Funding records and Merchant Payment records are maintained independently.
Each transaction possesses its own authorization, transaction history, accounting records, operational records, and audit trail.
Funding Methods are made available subject to:
Wallet Funding may require:
Wallet Funding may be delayed or declined pending completion of such reviews.
Where a Wallet Funding transaction cannot be successfully completed, the Platform may reject, cancel, reverse, or otherwise decline the transaction.
No Wallet Assets will be credited unless Wallet Funding has been successfully completed.
The User acknowledges that PayBito provides the Wallet Funding Service through the Platform and coordinates Wallet Funding using one or more Wallet Funding Partners.
The User acknowledges that Wallet Funding does not create a purchase of goods or services from any Merchant.
Any subsequent purchase from a Merchant is initiated only through a separate Merchant Payment authorized by the User.
The User acknowledges that Wallet Funding and Merchant Payments are independently authorized transactions.
Authorizing one transaction does not automatically authorize the other.
The User agrees that Platform transaction records relating to Wallet Funding constitute the official Platform record of the Wallet Funding transaction unless demonstrated to contain an error.
PayBito and Wallet Funding Partners may review Wallet Funding transactions for fraud prevention, compliance, operational security, financial crime prevention, and risk management purposes.
Wallet Funding may be delayed, suspended, declined, or restricted where reasonably necessary to:
PayBito may retain Wallet Funding records for the period required by applicable law, regulatory obligations, operational requirements, or legitimate business purposes.
These Wallet Funding Terms supplement the PayBito Wallet Services Agreement and form part of the legal framework governing Wallet Services. Users should also refer to the PayBito Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and other applicable agreements referenced in the Wallet Services Agreement.
